The “Piano Man” Henry Haid from Broadway’s Tony Award winning musical Movin’ Out and his band Glass Houses performing an honorary tribute to the music of Billy Joel. Henry Haid rose to prominence portraying piano man Billy Joel in Twyla Tharp’s Tony Award winning hit Broadway musical Movin’ Out. He received rave reviews for those Broadway performances at New York City’s Richard Rodgers Theater. Prior to his stint on Broadway, Henry Haid performed throughout the USA, Europe and the Caribbean as a solo performer and with his band Only in America.

Through the 80’s and early 90’s Henry Haid was playing and singing in rock bands and opening up for such acts as Elvin Bishop and the Gregg Allman Band. Also working as an engineer and programmer at Island Media Studios along side producer Jack Douglas (John Lennon, Aerosmith) producer Ron Isley (The Isley Brothers). Working with Liberty Devitto (Billy Joel’s band) and bass player Will Lee (David Letterman band). Writing commercials for The Helen Keller Institute and Cannon. Performing on the Dick Clark show in Montreal, Canada. Playing piano for Little Anthony, Bo Diddly, Freddie Cannon, and The Shirelles. Playing for such notables as Victor Borge and Charles Osgood also sharing the stage and playing with rock legends Dave Mason and Eric Burdon.
